Bonjour Urban and Stylisters! Parker Hunstiger is the name, and fashion and beauty are my game. I recently received the opportunity to review various beauty company products. Who wouldn’t want to try new things, especially when it comes to hair and makeup, am I right? So I’ll start off by saying congrats, you’re reading the first edition of Stylish Study, articles containing honest reviews on what products to buy and which products to bypass. With the help of my fellow product model, Savannah Ross, I was able to adequately assess each product. When you go to any beauty product store, it’s a nightmare trying to figure out which one of the thousands of brands is the best option. Well, you’re one lucky duck because if you’re reading this you’re definitely in the right place.
Recently, I’ve been in contact with executives from the Christophe Robin Team to review their infamous hair product line. Christophe Robin has been very generous in providing adequate content for this new venture of mine, and I am very grateful for the company’s support. I was mailed free samples from the Christophe Robin product collection over the course of the past few weeks, in return for my honest review.
♦ Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub With Sea Salt
The purifying scrub with sea salt is a shampoo scrub that hydrates sensitive or oily scalps to balance out the hair’s natural producing oils. By eliminating the chemical residues accumulating on the scalp, the product acts as a detox treatment, which harmonizes greatly with the sea salt exfoliant. The thing I really like about the Christophe Robin hair product line is that all their products are paraben and phthalate free which is a huge plus for me. In today’s hair products, it’s incredibly difficult to find substances that do not contain these harmful chemicals.
I highly recommend using this product if you have an oily scalp. I have a decently oily scalp, so I have to wash my hair more often than most. This isn’t exactly the greatest to maintain healthy hair since washing your hair frequently strips the hair of its natural oils leaving it feeling straw-like. So I found that using this purifying scrub shampoo really helped with that. Normally, I wash my hair every other day, because of oil buildup near my hairline. Since I started using this scrub, I found after three or four uses, I was able to leave my hair unwashed for up to three or four days. The oil buildup wasn’t nearly as present compared to my normal shampoo routine.

♦ Christophe Robin Regenerating Mask With Rare Prickly Pear Seed Oil
Also part of the award winning hair purifying collection, the regenerating mask worked wonders as well. This doesn’t surprise me since this product won a 2017 Bride Beauty Award for its incredible effectiveness.
The mask’s purpose is to regenerate hair to its fullest, resolving problems such as breakage, dryness, and overall hair damage. The protective solution restructures and strengthens all hair types to rejuvenate locks back to health from current and imminent damage. Since Christophe Robin is known for its use of natural ingredients, this product does not contain harmful substances such as parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. Phew!
I’m seriously in love with the hair mask. After rinsing my hair from the usage of the mask, my hair is the softest I’ve ever felt it. I thought conditioner was a miracle worker, but the Christophe Robin hair mask opened my eyes to a whole other world of soft. Not to mention, the substance itself smells wonderful. The aroma of fresh pears and lotion just boosts the amount of credit I’m giving this product. I mean, c’mon ladies, we all know the smell of our hair products is something we all consider when we purchase our shampoos and conditioners.

♦ Christophe Robin Instant Volumizing Mist With Rose Water
I don’t know about you, but I’m sick of spending hours curling my hair and having it fall flat halfway through the day. It’s very frustrating. I’ve purchased various products to find one that keeps my hair looking full and voluminous all day long. Well, the search is over ladies, the volumizing mist from Christophe Robin works like a charm. I kid you not, this densifying mist keeps the fullness of your hair for what seems like forever. Out of all three Christophe Robin products I’ve reviewed, I’d have to say this one was my favorite.
The formula contains only natural ingredients and is alcohol-free. One thing I really like about this product is that it’s composed of 96% rose water. Why is rose water such a big deal? Well, rose water is a water-based softening property that not only holds your hair in place but keeps it looking and feeling soft. This was a HUGE plus for me because, with other volume products I’ve used, they all made my hair feel crunchy, stringy, and incredibly rough. I’ve looked high and low for a hair volume product that gave me the best of both worlds, soft, non-stringy hair and kept voluminosity.

I want to say thank you again to Christophe Robin for providing me with incredible hair products. Readers keep your eyes out for more Stylish Studies written and tested by yours truly. Au Revoir!
