Harry Styles is back as Another Man Magazine reveals on Instagram. The singer, and now actor, will be on the cover or rather covers of its 2016 fall issue.
Styles is back with 3 new covers for the magazine that were shot by 3 different photographers; Willy Vanderperre, Alasdair McLellan, and Ryan McGinley. Each of these photographers take an interesting approach in capturing the style of Harry Styles.
In the cover shot by Willy Vanderperre, Harry Styles seems to bring back his once signature long hair, while donning what appears to be a leather choker, and what looks to be a red blazer or jacket with black embellishments.
The black and white cover shot by Alasdair McLellan has “an obvious Mick Jaggerian thing going on” as Fashionista writer Maura Brannigan puts it, and I couldn’t agree more. In this photo Harry wears a printed turtleneck sweater as he smiles directly into the lens, a face that is again very reminiscent of McJagger himself.
Finally, the cover shot by Ryan McGinley which is perhaps the most reflective of Styles’s current look speaks volumes on its own. The photo focuses on the gaze he gives to the camera and while the cover seems to be distorted, it is yet another artistic approach to Harry Styles.
The covers reflect the stylistic approaches of Harry Styles while also very much reflecting the signature styles of these photographers.
Media coverage on Harry Styles has been relatively silent since he began the filming in May for Christopher Nolan’s World War II drama “Dunkirk”. The film depicts the story of allied soldiers from Belgium, Britain, and France who are surrounded by the German army and must evacuate in the midst of World War II.
