It has been two years since Cara Delevingne has walked in a Victoria’s Secret fashion show, but this time around we may see an appearance from her in Paris- or will we?
CMO of Victoria’s Secret Edward Razek sent a personalized letter to the 24-year-old model personally inviting Delevingne to be a part of the fashion show this year.
The letter that Razek wrote cleared the air about the reasoning Delevingne could not attend the 2014 show, which was due to conflicting schedules with her filming, Paper Towns. This is contrary to what The Sun published that same year, saying Delevingne was turned down because she was “too bloated”. Delevingne took the letter to post on her personal Instagram account. Delevingne captioned the photo of the letter. “It’s shameless to discuss women’s bodies just to sell papers #bloated,”.
Razek even stated that Delevingne does not even need a casting audition. He said kind and welcoming words. Razek closed the note by saying, “If you’re free on November 30, please join us in Paris. No casting necessary!”.
It is still unknown whether or not Delevingne will take the invitation. Let’s hope that we will see her on the runway this year.
