A film for “dreamers”, La La Land hits theaters this Friday, Dec. 9 2016, and one of the many things we’ll see will be the highlighted talents of its incredible cast.

The film stars Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling, John Legend, Rosemarie DeWitt, Finn Wittrock, Callie Hernandez, Sonoya Mizuno, Jessica Rothe, Tom Everett Scott, and Josh Pence.

‘La La Land’ is a change of pace for holiday movie lovers as it follows two dreamers, Sebastian and Mia, trying to make it in the industry; all this is done in the form of a modern day musical. The film will showcase the talents and abilities of all of its actors but perhaps the most impressed with what will be showcased is one of its stars, Ryan Gosling. When asked about Emma Stone, he had this to say to CNN, “she shows so many of her talents in this film. I thought I knew they were there, but I didn’t see them in full bloom until we shot the film.”

Gosling and Stone have done numerous roles together so their on screen chemistry will no doubt be present. In this film they play love interests once again.

Director Damien Chazelle had this to say on the two stars, “I think they do this incredible magic trick in the movie of making it seem effortless,”. He continued, “it’s incredibly hard work what they did. They rehearsed and trained for months and months. He finished, “both of them sing, dance, act, everything, and make it look easy.

Emma Stone calling it a “movie about dreamers and artists” said it shed light on the difficulties dreamers have in realizing their dreams and finding “the joy of the journey”.

“I would hope that it’s something that brings people some joy and a sense of being understood if they’re dreamers or creative people in any way” said Stone.
