David and Victoria Beckham are ready for a home upgrade. The Beckhams are listing their current $40 million home and are interested in moving their family into the Manor, the largest home in the Los Angeles county that is listed for $270 million.
The Manor was built in 1988 and was originally built by the renown Aaron and Candy Spelling. With a total of 14 bedrooms and 27 bathrooms, this magnificent 56,500 square foot home lies on approximately five acres in the prestigious Holmby Hills.
Architects James Langeneheim and Associates brought this French-chateau style residence into the realm of luxury, elegance and grandeur. The latest renovations of this prestigious property took place in 2011, where current owner Petra Ecclestone gave it more of a contemporary look.
This 123-room residence will provide the Beckhams with a comfortable living space. The legendary family has taken a special eye to the Manor because it is reliable for the family’s rapid shifting needs.
The Manor is rumored to be strongly resembling the Beckhams’ former UK home “Beckingham Palace”. A property insider told the Daily Star Sunday: “She (Posh) loves the Manor and she said it reminded her of Beckingham Palace.”
There is no confirmation in whether or not the Beckhams will move into the Manor, but a family full of posh is destined to fit into the world of luxury that the Manor exuberates.
