Holidays are upon us and with some much needed vacation time coming up, we can all get to binge watching the shows we’ve been missing.

Here’s a list of the top 5 must watch shows you might’ve missed out on this year.

Atlanta – (An FX hit) A show created by the talented Donald Glover; the show has been said to be geared toward a millennial audience but can honestly be watched by anyone. Based in a city where the entrance into the world of rap can make or break you, Earn is trying to help is cousin Alfred get ahead in his rap career. A comedy with a realistic twist, the show is definitely a must watch.

Black Mirror – (A Netflix series) This show began as a British series but has since made it’s way to Netflix. While we highly recommend the show it’ll definitely put you in a weird place. Focusing on the darker side of technology and society ‘Black Mirror’ is the perfect amount of suspense and twilight zone vibes that it will have you quickly moving through the entire season wanting more.

The OA – (A Netflix series) After seven years of having been missing a young woman returns to her family. Once blind she can now see but can’t explain why. The FBI and her adoptive parents all want to know of the events that occurred in the years she’s been missing. This mystery is one to watch.

Insecure – (HBO series) Insecure focuses on the friendship of two young black women in their 20s going through life having to overcome insecurities and real life issues. The show is authentic, has comedy, romance, and great music. Catch it on HBO on demand.

Westworld – (HBO series) While you’ll have to wait an entire year for the second season of this sci-fi hit, if you haven’t watched it yet YOU HAVE TO. The series is set in the future where the wealthy spend ridiculous amounts of money to immerse themselves in an experience like no other. As one of the most talked about shows this year Westworld surpassed Game of Thrones in viewership, and if that doesn’t say enough just watch the trailer.
