“It was perfect it was heaven” said Andrew Garfield as he began to disclose the events that went down during his incredible 29th birthday. Garfield’s dream birthday involves friends, pot brownies, and Disneyland. I’d say a perfect balance of good and triply times.
During an interview with W magazine he said, “I’m just gonna tell you this straight up,” he continues, “they came out to L.A to surprise me, we went to Disneyland, and we ate pot brownies. It was literally heaven.”
He said, “I freaked out on ‘It’s a Small World’. I was like, ‘It is…it is a fucking small world.’” It’s hilarious and so worth watching. The telling of the story begins at minute 2:21.
The birthday was caught on camera as several shots surfaced of the day he and his then girlfriend Emma Stone, had a day in Disneyland with friends.

Garfield sat down to promote his upcoming role in Martin Scorsese’s Silence. The film is about two Christian missionaries, Garfield and Adam Driver, who set off in an ultimate test of faith when they decide to travel to Japan to find their missing mentor, who is played by Liam Neeson. The movie is set in a time where Christianity was outlawed and the presence of missionaries was forbidden. It is based on Shusaku Endo’s 1966 acclaimed novel.
Garfield said, “I read the script and I read the book, and it’s a poem,” he continued, “only the greats get to deal with that kind of material, like Mr. Scorsese.”
Silence is now playing in select theaters.
