Following the split from member Camila Cabello last month, Fifth Harmony has already started working on new music. The four-piece has already announced the ‘7/27 Tour’ to support their most recent album, and it will be the group’s first ever Asian tour. They also already performed for the first time without Cabello at the People’s Choice Awards on January 18th, proving that the group is not wasting any time.
According to Snapchat stories created by member Dinah Jane on January 25th, the group is back in the studio as the singer posted a series of selfies and recording equipment with the caption “day one.” Jane also posted Instagram stories that allude to the same conclusion. In addition, producer Sebastian Kole live-streamed himself working with Ally Brooke and Dinah Jane on Instagram, while a track featuring their vocals played in the background. Later in the day, he tweeted about the group, which has led fans to believe that he is not just working with Brooke and Jane individually, but rather the group as a whole. Kole is known for his work with Alessia Cara, as he co-wrote her hits “Here” and “Scars To Your Beautiful.”

An official date or timeline has not yet been revealed for when the new album will debut, but the quartet is working hard to keep their momentum and to get it out as soon as possible. The album will likely be released in the late spring or early summer in 2017, just in time for the group to secure another hit song of the summer.
