Known for his roles in action-comedies like 21 Jump Street (2012), This Is The End (2013), actor Jonah Hill has taken his health into serious consideration following the release of his latest film. After his 40 pound weight loss for the movie Moneyball (2011), fans were surprised to see Hill looking almost unrecognizable on the set of War Dogs (2016). It is unclear whether or not the weight gain was required for his role playing arms dealer Efraim Diveroli alongside Miles Teller. However, it must have paid off because the actor received rave reviews for his work in the movie, like Wendy Ide’s Guardian review in which she wrote about his “blitzkrieg of a performance.”
When asked about his Moneyball transformation, Hill was quoted saying, “It was just mostly diet. I wish there was some crazy thing that I did, like a pill or a genie or something. I went to see a nutritionist, and he told me what to eat to change my habits and stuff.” According to foods4betterhealth.com, Hill has embraced various diets in the past few years, like the Japanese diet and the Atkins diet. One constant factor in his diet was the elimination of alcohol, caffeine, and fast food from his diet. In addition, Hill combines his diet with a workout regimen that includes running, sit-ups, and push-ups.
The actor was seen flaunting his new frame on the streets of Los Angeles, as well as at the 74th Golden Globe awards, as he received a nomination for his work in War Dogs.
