After seeing what she has accomplished in the past year alone, there is no denying that Kylie Jenner takes after her older sisters when it comes to being a businesswoman. The nineteen-year-old’s resume boasts her own hair extension line, a book she helped author, partnerships with numerous brands, a clothing and eyewear line created with her sister, a lucrative paid content website and app, a video game, countless magazine covers, real estate investments, and of course, most notably, the Kylie Jenner lip-kits. No wonder the young star is right behind Kim as the second-highest earning member of the Kardashian family.
Despite her cosmetic industry success, it’s not all about selling a plump pout for Jenner. In her most recent business endeavor, Kylie has partnered with Puma to become the face of the brand’s current ad campaign. Who better to market athletic and athleisure clothes than such a curvy, yet fit, beauty. Whether or not you believe her body is the result of hard work or surgery, there is no denying Kylie is a bombshell.
The partnership was previously a source of dismay for Kanye. He previously called out Puma on twitter, saying
“1000% there will never be a Kylie Puma anything. That’s on my family! 1000% Kylie is on Yeezy team!!!”
Kayne supposedly felt that Puma was trying to divide the family, but his motive seemed more selfish than selfless, as he constantly and shamelessly advertises his Yeezy collaboration with Adidas, regardless of how many of his Yeezy fashion shows flop. Despite Kanye’s feelings, Kylie moved forward in her campaign with Puma.
Just yesterday, the starlet took to her Instagram to share some snaps from her most recent shoot for Puma.
The star did not say much in the captions of the four photos, simply captioning each one “@puma girl.”
Jenner posted four photos, two in color and two in black-and-white, that see her in a variety of poses showing off her physique in Puma gear.
For the shoot, Kylie is styled in all black athletic wear with pops of white and bright pinks. While the color photos are more casual and still, the two greyscale photos show the star in a more artistic light, as she poses dynamically in a black jumpsuit with a cape looking jacket.
Though she may not be a runway model like her sister Kendall, Kylie is definitely a pro at posing and can hold her own in photoshoots. Puma is reportedly shelling out $1 million to have the lip-kit mogul as the face of their campaign. Certainly there are no longer any questions as to how the youngest member of the Kardashian family sustains her lifestyle or regarding Kylie’s ‘lack of talent’: she is clearly a fierce businesswoman.
