The pageant took place in the Philippines where it aired lived and crowned Miss France, Iris Mittenaere as the winner of the 2016 Miss Universe. (Although, it’s 2017, its still the 2016 Miss Universe pageant). There was a total of 86 contestants in the finals and Miss France survived all three challenges: the evening gown, the swimsuits and the series of Q&A.
