Our new First Lady is off to a good start. TMZ recently learned, Melania Trump is NOT going to create traffic jams across New York City when transporting her son Barron to school.
Sunday night, the First Lady returned to Trump Tower. TMZ reported, she religiously escorts Barron to his private school but now they’ll do it in a heavily protected motorcade rolling through NYC.
You can only assume that this was a big concern for city commuters. Fortunately, law enforcement sources say it won’t be too bad. The plan is to block off streets in a rolling pattern, for just a few minutes, to allow the First Lady’s convoy to move quickly. NYPD will assist the Secret Service by blocking streets and re-opening them as soon as Melania’s ride passes.
At the end of the day, New Yorkers don’t have to worry about massive street closures all at once and no gridlocks. Since this is President Trump’s wife and youngest son, the route will change on a regular basis for security purposes.
Wednesday this all will take place, so we shall see if Melania Trump holds up her end of the bargain. The people of NY are counting on her.
