Johnny Depp’s team has stooped pretty low in their recent comments in court. Heard recently filed an order of motion to have Depp pay his settlement, the response got ugly.
“Her request is entirely unnecessary under the law and suggests a last-ditch effort to garner media attention and somehow further her public persona by virtue of proximity to Johnny Depp,” found in documents obtained from E! News.
The comments continue on to state, “from the inception of this dissolution Amber has sought to build a case in the court of public opinion. Amber is now courting renewed media attention with this unnecessary Request for Order. Her application is not only a blatant attempt to extend her fifteen minutes of fame but also a waste of the Court’s limited time and resources and an embarrassing grab for addition and unwarranted attorney’s fees.”
So, is Amber Heard really using this divorce as a way of “extend(ing) her fifteen minutes of fame”? Well, as a well known actress with an upcoming role in DC’s Aquaman:
we think not.
Also, Heard has gone on to say that the incredible sum of her $7 million dollar settlement will be going to charity.
