You know what they say, “when you gotta go, you gotta go.” This is what people thought was the case on Friday when Justin Bieber was seen wearing suspiciously soaked $400 sweatpants. Of course, people began to make assumptions as to why this wet stain was so strategically placed, and the news spread like wildfire all over the internet. A picture starts a rumor, the rumor is spread on social media, and then eventually the rumor becomes a meme, welcome to the gossip world Bieber, we’ve been expecting you.

The young star recently put the accumulating assumptions to rest on Twitter with a humorous tweet that definitely deserves a laugh or two. Bieber explained the cause of the mysterious stain was from flowers he was holding while driving. He took a sharp turn and the flowers toppled, leaving their watery residue in the most unfortunate place possible.

Bieber continued to use the internet humiliation to his advantage, as he posted a meme of himself being compared to Billy Madison, who is internationally known for wetting himself. The caption read, “You aint cool…unless you pee your pants.”

It was nice to see that Bieber remained composed throughout the situation because of his past record for blowing up about minor issues. Maybe Bieber is finally learning to navigate the famous waters of being a Hollywood icon. If so, the world can take a collective sigh of relief. We can only hope the 22-year-old matures at some point.
