Lana Del Rey brings attitude, sass, and a whole lot of class when is comes to the music industry. When it comes to witchcraft, Rey enters from black and white into a gray area. On February 24 at midnight, witches internationally cast spells on the President of the United States, Donald Trump. Of course, being part of her aesthetic, Rey partook in this world-renowned casting event.
Rey took to Twitter to inform other casters how to create the spell. Apparently, the list of ingredients can be found online. Instructions says that this spell must be re-cast each night a crescent moon is present until Donald Trump is successfully removed from office.

So where did this “spell” come from? Michael M. Hughes posted this binding spell on his Facebook page which escaleted into a series of casting events on social media platforms. Hughes interviewed with ELLE.com and said,
“We’re not wishing harm on anyone, we’re just trying to stop the harm they’re doing. It’s not the equivalent of punching a Nazi in the face, it’s the equivalent of tying him up and taking his bullhorn away.”

Personally, I don’t see what this whole “casting binding spells” incidient is really going to effect, but Hughes should get creativity points for trying at least. The way I see it, Donald Trump is our nation’s president. Although people may not like him or anything that he’s implementing, the people of America need to start supporting, if not our president, but America. Our country cannot successfully thrive without the support of its citizens. If you don’t like President Trump, then at least support the country that has given you opportunities that no other country can provide. I get many individuals are not happy with the outcome of the presidential election, but don’t resort to witchcraft because ultimately it’s not going to change anything.
