The La La Land actor, Ryan Gosling tugs at the heartstrings once again in his new movie Song to Song. Written and directed by Terrence Malick, the film revolves around Austin’s music scene. The film stars cast members, Natalie Portman, Michael Fassbender, and Rooney Mara.
This movie is music oriented, in other words, there is a decent amount of singing. So yes La La Land fans, you will once again get to experience the beautiful vocals of Gosling as well as cameos from Patti Smith, Iggy Pop, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Black Lips, and Lykke Li. Making her big debut, The latter, stars as one of Goslings lovers in the film. The duo sings a romantic cover of “It Hurts to Be Alone” by the one and the only, Bob Marley and the Wailers. The film premiered at SXSW on March 10 and opened in New York and Los Angeles yesterday.
To all Ryan Gosling fans out there, be sure to watch Song to Song. Face it, whatever he’s in it’s bound to be fabulous. Let’s be honest with ourselves, we women enjoy watching pretty people on our television screens within the comfort of our living rooms with a glass of wine in hand. The girls are over, wine in hand, Ryan Gosling, and beautiful singing, that sounds like the ideal Saturday night for me. I’m 100% on board with that. Go ahead, allow yourself to fantasize about your future with Ryan Gosling, with a man like that, I know I sure will!
