Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean franchise will be releasing its fifth movie, Dead Men Tell No Tails on May 26.

The story will pick up with Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) facing off with a new villain Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem).

However, the return of Orlando Bloom as his old character Will Smith was not expected. He was last seen at the helm of the Flying Dutchman ship. Although, in the latest trailer, he’s seen on a ship looking weathered with barnacles on half of his face.

It is unclear the exact motive for the character’s return, but the timeline of the movie shows that Smith may be finished serving his time at sea.

Pirates of the Caribbean has been a part of Disney for the past 40 years, and it remains to be one of the most popular among followers.
