It’s finally here people. The long awaited teaser trailer for the long awaited Star Wars: The Last Jedi is available for your viewing pleasure. There were many panels devoted to many different aspects of the franchise (women heroes of Star Wars, the popular animated show Star Wars: Rebels, the villains of the franchise, etc.), but after the end of the main panel, the teaser trailer was finally unveiled to the patiently awaiting audience. Though there are no new faces shown, there are certainly some new locations and situations, including hero Rey’s training under Luke and what looks to be a thrilling space battle (its about time).

Many have complained that the teaser wasn’t exciting, or didn’t show enough of the plot. But people would be wise to remember that this movie is coming out at the end of the year, and Disney have done an impressive job of keeping plot points secret. Back in the old days before the internet, nobody had to worry about spoilers or finding out whats happens before you experience it in the theater yourself. Contrary to what our recent spoiler culture will tel you, going into a good movie knowing nothing about it almost always makes the movie magic more powerful, so lets the official trailer (whenever that comes out) is just as devoid of spoilers details as this teaser. Trust me, you will thank Disney when you see the film.

In the meantime, enjoy a taste of what’s to come on December 15th, 2017
