Jimmy Kimmel has been selected again to host the 2018 Oscars.
This will be the second year in a row for Kimmel to be chosen for the gig.
The late night host is looking forward to host the Oscars again, as he reflects on hosting it in 2017. “Hosting the Oscars was a highlight of my career and I am grateful to Cheryl [Boone Isaacs], Dawn [Hudson] and the Academy for asking me to return to work with two of my favorite people, Mike De Luca and Jennifer Todd,” said Kimmel.
President of ABC Entertainment Channing Dungey speaks highly of Kimmel of being the host for second consecutive year. “After just one year, we can’t imagine anyone else hosting The Oscars. Jimmy’s skillful command of the stage is invaluable on a night when anything can happen – and does,” Dungey said.
The 90th Oscars will be on March 4, 2018 on ABC.
