Mark your calendars for Christmas because you are going to want to watch Hugh Jackman’s newest movie. Jackman who has always been a big fan of musicals, broadway, and show business itself will be playing “The Greatest Showman,” P.T. Barnum. Name ring a bell? Barnum is most famous for creating the beloved circus Barnum & Bailey Circus.
The upcoming film will be a musical with original songs from the composers of “La La Land,” Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. “The Greatest Showman” will also star Michelle Williams, who plays Jackman’s wife. As well as, Zac Efron, Zendaya, and Rebecca Furgeson.
The film will depict Hugh Jackman as P.T. Barnum creating his famous circus after he is fired from his job. The trailer gives us a sneak peak of how Barnum creates the idea of “show business,” as he recruits performers. We even get a funny line from Efron.
“I can’t just run off and join the circus.”
Both Zendaya and Zac Efron shared short teasers on their instagrams.
As for the trailer… It was only just released today! The movie looks spectacular!
