Justin Bieber’s music career has been thriving recently. Two songs that Bieber is featured in are currently in the top 3 of the United States Billboard charts. His song with DJ Khaled, “I’m The One”, is at number 3 on the charts and his song with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, “Despacito”, is the number one song in the country and has been the number one song for five weeks.
With the huge popularity of “Despacito” it is obvious that fans would want to hear Bieber sing “Despacito” live. The issue with expecting a live performance of “Despacito” from Bieber is that Bieber doesn’t know the words to the song. “Despacito” is a Spanish language song, so most likely when recording the song he had the lyrics in front of him. Instead of making an effort to learn the song, the “Love Yourself” singer has gone on stage and just made random noises or say Spanish words that a lot of people know.

Bieber might have been able to get away with completely making random noises in a New York City nightclub but people were not happy with him during the Summerburst Festival. When fans requested Bieber to sing “Despacito” at the festival, the “Beauty and a Beat” singer said “I can’t do Despacito. I don’t even know it”. When refusing to sing “Despacito” someone in the crowd threw what looked like a water bottle at the pop star. Bieber responded saying “Don’t throw things at me please.”
Hopefully Bieber takes this as a lesson that if you are apart of a song, you should know the words to it. Check out the video of Bieber almost getting hit in the head with a bottle here:
