Kevin Hart and Bryan Cranston Star in “Intouchables” Remake

This french film is getting a remake.

The beloved french film, “Intouchables,” is going to get an american remake.  The new film will star comedian, Kevin Hart, and actor, Bryan Cranston.  Other cast members will include Nicole Kidman, Julianna Margulies, and Aja Naomi King.  The Weinstein Company has set a release date for March 9th, 2018.

The original 2011 film took place in Paris starring François Cluzet and Omar Sy.  Omar Sy won a César Award for best actor for his role in the film.  As well as, the film received many different nominations and received $400 million at the box office worldwide.

The remake will take place in Philadelphia.  Cranston will play a billionaire who becomes paralyzed after a hang-gliding accident.  Hart’s character is a convicted felon who gets hired by Cranston’s character as a care-taker without previous work experience.  The film captures their unlikely friendship, which will surely bring joy to audiences all around.
