Lady Gaga is not only one of the most successful pop stars in the world, she is also one of the busiest!
At the end of 2016, Gaga released her fifth studio album, Joanne, and this past February she performed at the Super Bowl halftime show. What’s next for the 31-year-old? This summer she will embark on her fifth headlining tour and next year she will appear in a modern remake of A Star Is Born.
Fans will also have a chance to see Gaga on Bud Light’s Dive Bar Tour 2.0, and she will be joined by two surprise performers. The singer shared E! News how much she enjoys singing in bars because it allows her to connect to her audience. “It’s just people close together, some beer and some music,” she said.
Gaga revealed that her fans tell her about how her music has helped heal them and get them through difficult times. “When I hear things like that, I know that my music has gone where it’s supposed to go—straight to the heart,” Gaga said.
We also might get some new music soon! Although she doesn’t know when she will release new songs, Gaga explained that she “[loves] making music” and is “working on” new material. Her Joanne World Tour will begin in late August.

In addition to her growing music career, Gaga will make her big screen debut next September alongside co-star Bradley Cooper.
Gaga will play the female lead, Ally, a role that has been portrayed by film legends Janet Gaynor, Judy Garland, and Barbara Streisand. Gaga told E! News how she “was intimidated by the legacy of the film” and told herself that she has to ‘bring it.’
Through her new role, Gaga was able to “relive [her] career through [Ally] in a different way.” The actress said she felt connected to her character. “I was very healed in this character. There was so much about her in me that is similar and there’s some things that are very different,” she said.
With a a new world tour and her starring film, Lady Gaga will definitely have a full schedule for the next year. There’s no doubt that her career will continue to shine!
I am so excited to star in my first movie alongside someone I'm so lucky to call my friend. I always wanted to be an actress on the big screen. The story of "A Star is Born" is so special and I'm so grateful to Bradley for making my dream come true. Can't wait for you to meet Ally. She has her first scene in 5….⏰
