Piers Morgan is well known for being very outspoken. Morgan recently criticized Ariana Grande for going back home to Florida after the bombing at her “Dangerous Woman” tour in Manchester, England. Morgan believed that Grande should have visited her fans in the hospital after the attack.

Grande did eventually go back to Manchester before her Manchester benefit concert to visit her fans who were in the hospital after the bombing.

According to Huffington Post, Grande’s “One Love Manchester” benefit concert helped raise over $3 million dollars for the Red Cross’ Manchester Emergency Fund. The lineup of performers which included Grande, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Little Mix, Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and more all promoted messages of love, peace and unity, which made the concert even more beautiful.

After the “One Love Manchester” concert, Morgan apologized to Grande. Morgan said “I misjudged you & I apologise. You’re an admirable young woman & this is a magnificent night. Respect,” he also tweeted “I thought Ariana Grande was wrong to fly off after . But tonight she’s putting on a fabulous show,”.

Grande’s return to Manchester was extremely brave and her “One Love Manchester” concert showed her caring and generosity. Morgan’s apology was absolutely necessary and it’s good he made it.
