One of the best things about the summer is the music. Usually songs released for the summer are very uplifting and happy which makes  everyone feel happy. While songs like “Despacito” and “That’s What I Like” are dominating the charts and radio so far this summer, here are a list of ten pop songs that you might not have heard of but should add to your summer playlist.

“Better” is a track off of Britney Spears’ ninth studio album “Glory”. This song gives very summer vibes that would be great to listen to on the radio or on the beach. The mix of a tropical vibe production and lyrics about developing a relationship makes it a great summer love anthem.

Rupaul’s Drag Race contestant Adore Delano has created the ultimate summer song with “Take Me There.” The song is all about being carefree and living life to the fullest which is what summertime should be about. The chorus of the song really helps give the song a super catchy summer vibe.

“Superlove” came out in the summer of 2016 however it did not get the attention it deserved. Tinashe is one of the most underrated performers and artists currently, and it is a shame because her music and performances are so good. “Superlove” is definitely a song for the summer. During the summer “Superlove” is great for any occasion, if it’s just chilling on the beach, dancing at a pool party, listening to music in the car, etc “Superlove” is a summer banger.
