Justin Bieber is back at it again with the bop.

Bieber released his new dance single “Friends” with producer Bloodpop on Thursday. This isn’t their first collaboration; Bloodpop co-wrote several songs on Bieber’s Purpose album.

Bieber sings about staying friends with lost love in this bass-heavy breakup hit, with lyrics like “No, we didn’t end this so good / But you know we had something so good,” and “And if it ends, can we be friends?” With Bieber’s track-record of releasing super popular music (have you heard of Sorry?), this single is a sure fire end-of-summer jam.

This is the first single for Bieber since “Company” was released on it’s own from the Purpose album in 2016. Now while he was featured on DJ Khaled’s “I’m The One,” David Guetta’s “2U” and of course Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito,” this is Bieber’s first solo act since cancelling his tour three weeks ago.

Bieber took to Instagram to give his heartfelt reasons for ending his tour, stating that he needed to take a break in order to be sustainable and continue to create music and perform in the future.

Bieliebers should have some of their anger quelled with this new single, and they can all go back to being friends again.
