Miley Cyrus Reflects on Her Family, Career Choices and Music

Miley Cyrus graces the September 2017 cover of Cosmopolitan

Miley Cyrus is gracing the cover of September 2017 issue of Cosmopolitan. In the interview with Cosmopolitan, the pop star reflected on a lot of her life from her family, career choices, fashion and much more.

In the interview, Cyrus discussed her songwriting process and The Voice. Cyrus explained how she wrote a song she heard in a dream. When discussing The Voice the “Malibu” singer said she would pick Alicia Keys as her coach if she was auditioning. “She’s [Alicia Keys] always made me feel super loved and special. I loved spending time in my big red chair next to my sis!” Cyrus said.

In the interview Cyrus opened up about family. Cyrus sayid the best part of having Dolly Parton as her godmother is having access to her wardrobe and “watching the way she [Dolly Parton] treats people with love and respect.” Cyrus also opened up about what she has  learned from her parents’ marriage saying “Nothing and no one stays the same. Grow, evolve, change with each other and celebrate your love’s journey!”

Lastly Cyrus talks about her previous fashion choices. Cyrus said her favorite red carpet look was the VMAs 2015 when she wore Versace. When discussing her looks she disliked Cyrus said “Pretty much 2008-2013. The Grammys were rough and tough for me. Yoikes!”

The September 2017 issue of Cosmopolitan goes on newsstands August 8th.
