What do you get when you mix Game of Thrones with a classic 90’s jam? Spot on impressions and uncontrollable laughter.
In an Entertainment Weekly exclusive, Game of Thrones stars Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams team up for their episode of the Apple Music show Carpool Karaoke: The Series, and come up with some pretty interesting challenges for each other. One of these challenges: sing songs as Sean Bean, a.k.a their fictional father, Ned Stark.
From singing “Hakuna Matata” over the Game of Thrones theme song to yelling “Becky” from Sir Mix A lot’s “Baby Got Back” at people, both Turner and Williams channel Bean’s gruff accent. If you ever wanted to know what Ned Stark sounded like as a singer, then this video is a must-watch.
Adapted from the hugely viral hit from James Corden’s The Late Late Show, we see the Stark sisters driving through Austin, Texas during the South by Southwest festival in March. Their episode also includes them singing mega-pop hits and surprising fans by hiding in a Game of Thrones inspired exhibit.
Turner’s and Williams’ episode airs Aug. 22 (tonight) at 9 p.m. EST. You can find the episode here. Other Carpool Karaoke: The Series guests include Will Smith, Lebron James, Ariana Grandes, Shakira, Miley Cyrus and Gwyneth Paltrow.
