When Taylor Swift deleted all of her posts on social media, fans were shook. When she eclipsed the Solar Eclipse with her very meta snake video, fans were investigating. Now, Swift announced the dropping of a new song and album, and fans can’t control themselves.
Using her newly cleansed social media platforms, Swift confirmed the release of her new single, which is reportedly named “Timeless” but has yet to be verified, for Aug. 24 and the release of her new album, Reputation, for Nov. 10.
Her cover was shot Mert & Marcus, and shows Swift posed in black and white with headlines and newspaper inspired graphics.
Fans have been waiting for a new album for 3 years — 1989 came out in 2014, and skyrocketed to No. 1, selling over 6 million copies in the U.S. Her last song, a duet with Zayn, “I Don’t Want To Live Forever,” peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Top 100 chart.
Obviously fans are freaking out.

With all the drama Swift’s been through, from her very public feud with Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian West, who brought us the beloved snake image, to her sexual assault trial, her music will definitely reflect her side of the story. Either way, fans will eat it up.
We expect there to be plenty of shade thrown and some catchy tunes mixed in.
