On top of voting for your favorite singers and musicians, fans get treated to performances by some of the biggest names in music right now. MTV announced most of the performers three days ago through a set of promotional videos. These performers are: host Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Fifth Harmony, Lorde, Ed Sheeran, the Weeknd, Shawn Mendes, and Thirty Second to Mars.

Yet, according to the Associated Press, MTV announced yet another performer today: the one and only Kendrick Lamar.

Lorde, Sheeran and the Weeknd are also nominated for Artist of the Year, while the other Video of the Year nominations include Bruno Mar’s “24k Magic,” DJ Khaled, Rihanna and Bryson Tiller’s “Wild Thoughts,” the Weeknd’s “Reminder,” and Alessia Cara’s “Scars To Your Beautiful.” Both Cyrus and Fifth Harmony are also nominated for Best Pop Video.
