P!nk Drops New Song “Beautiful Trauma” Off New Album, And It’s Really Relatable

P!nk has graced fans with another song off her new album, Beautiful Trauma, and it’s pretty relatable.

On Thursday morning, according to Variety, P!nk dropped “Beautiful Trauma” the second song after “What About Us,” from her new album of the same name. P!nk collaborated with Bleachers frontman, Jack Antonoff, who has worked extensively with Lorde and Taylor Swift this year.

The song is about something beautiful and tragic at the same time with lyrics like, “We were on fire/ I slashed your tires/ It’s like we burned so bright, we burned out.” In a bunch of tweets to signify the songs release, Pink states that she chose the name “Beautiful Trauma” because “life is f*cking traumatic. But it’s also incredibly beautiful.”

Her album also features Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid and Steve Mac, who worked on “What About Us,” as well as Max Martin, Shellback, Julia Michaels and Greg Kurstin, who appear as collaborators.

Pink received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2017 VMAs, and is set to perform on SNL on Oct. 14, the day after her album release.
