On Tuesday, according to Good Housekeeping, Prince William addressed the exciting news during an appearance in Oxford to speak about policing and mental health. When congratulated by Zoe Patrick of the Oxfordshire Charity Council, the Prince responded:
“Thank you, it’s very good news.” He continued to talk about how excited they are to “start celebrating this week” because “it was a bit anxious to start with.”
With Princess Kate’s struggle with hyperemesis gravidarum, which is an intense form of morning sickness that can lead to dehydration, there is no surprise that it can be a bit tense at first. That coupled with two other kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the household must be getting hectic.
“There’s not much sleep at the moment,” Prince William said.
With the third child on the way, questions about succession have also been at the forefront of many commoner’s minds. The succession now stands as this: Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, the new baby, and then Prince Harry. This means that the new baby kicks Prince Harry from 5th in line to 6th.
Yet, Prince Harry doesn’t look too upset. When speaking to reporters, he shared his excitement for a new niece or nephew.
[It’s] fantastic, great! Very, very happy for them. I haven’t seen [Kate] for a while but I think she’s okay.”
Doesn’t seem to be any hard feelings, just love.
