Netflix Announces a ‘Stranger Things’ Aftershow

at Comic-Con International 2017 Netflix's "Stranger Things" panel at San Diego Convention Center on July 22, 2017 in San Diego, California.

Things are about to get pretty strange on Netflix.

The streaming platform has recently announced the launching of a “Stranger Things” aftershow, just in time for the premiere of the highly anticipated “Stranger Things 2.” The show will air after each episode and is to be hosted by filmmaker Jim Rash. According to Netflix’s official statement, the seven-episode aftershow will “tackle inspiration for the series, behind-the-scenes stories, and analyze every aspect of the second season.”

“Beyond Stranger Things” will feature exclusive appearances from the show’s creators Matt and Ross Duffer, as well as cast members like Millie Bobby Brown and Gaten Matarazzo, unlike season one’s YouTube hosted aftershow. Much like the aftershows of “Game of Thrones” (“After the Thrones”) and “The Walking Dead” (“The Talking Dead”), “Beyond Stranger Things” will be featured immediately after each episode, offering insight into the behind-the-scenes process that goes into every episode of the hit sci-fi series.

Season two of “Stranger Things” premieres on October 27th on Netflix.
