It’s been a year since Kanye West last performed on stage, but on Saturday night he made a comeback at Kid Cudi’s 2017 tour at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. West joined Kid Cudi and the duo performed “Father Stretch My Hands, Pt 1” which is a song off of Kanye’s latest album The Life of Pablo.

Last year on Kanye’s last performance on the final night of his Saint Pablo Tour, West cut his performance short after a long rant on Beyonce, Jay-Z, President Obama, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Cudi briefly feuded with West on Twitter last year, saying “Don’t never mention ’Ye name,” he said. “I birthed you.”

But West later said that Kid Cudi is “the most influential artist of the past 10 years.”

According to Page Six, the two artists were seen at a studio together in Japan and are rumored to be working on a project together. “They’re going to drop some crazy collaboration out of the blue,” a source said. “They’re going to drop some surprise project on everybody. They’re recording it now.”
