Inaugural Week Fashion: Ralph Lauren for Melania Trump?

Who will Melania Trump be wearing on the big day? It could be Ralph Lauren.

at the New York Hilton Midtown in the early morning hours of November 9, 2016 in New York City. Americans went to the polls yerterday to choose between Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton as they go to the polls to vote for the next president of the United States.

Will Ralph Lauren, a designer who has recently gained the reputation for being a Hillary supporter, now be getting ready to dress our incoming First Lady Melania Trump?

As of now it’s just a rumor. While it remains up in the air, it has been said that Ralph Lauren is gearing up to dress Melania for the upcoming Inauguration ceremony. Some are taking this news a bit harsh as the designer seemed to be a huge supporter of Hillary Clinton. Ralph Lauren dressed Clinton for major events such as debates, Clintons look to the voting booth, and her concession speech.

Happy Election Day!

While he may have been a vocal Clinton supporter, the brand itself could be making this move for exposure, as these events usually mean some time to shine in front of well, millions. It’s been said that the Ralph Lauren team is also working on custom pieces for various members of the Trump family, but again just rumors.

Either way one thing is certain, Melania knows her style. She will more than likely be sticking with American and European designers. As she stands alongside the President-elect, there’s no doubt she’ll be seen in her go to stilettos, her favorites? Manolo Blahnik’s.
