Karl Lagerfeld is teaming up with Swarovski to produce a fashion jewelry line. The deal that Lagerfeld has signed is a multi-year exclusive licensing agreement.
The preview of the collection will be available in March but will go on sale in September. The preview of the collection will debut at Baselworld Watch and Jewelery Show.
Pier Paolo Right explained the reason why Karl Lagerfeld decided to expand a brand into jewelry.
“Karl is the man of accessorization and jewelry. It was, therefore, the next natural step for us to expand our product range with a fashion jewelry collection.”
WWD has reported that there will be two collections released per year and will include rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces. The prices will range from $53 to $266.
