Alexander Wang is beginning to be known for his big box collaborations with other big brands, so the sophomore release of the Adidas collaboration comes as no surprise. The 14-piece collaboration with Adidas is set to released at selection stores in New York, Hong Kong, Milan, and a few other locations.
The collection displays the traditional Adidas 3-line design, with a remixed flare. Unlike the traditional lines that are associated with Adidas this collection sports a hollow center which adds an expected edge that Wang is known for. The collection will come in three colors black, burgundy, and blazer blue.
Traditional sweat-suit styles that sport unconventional lines will present an ahead of trend set-up that will be accessible to those who are true fans of Adidas, and those who consider themselves fashion-forward individuals.
A new Adidas Originals x Alexander Wang collection is dropping in March, featuring the brand's iconic colors and trefoil logo—flipped upside down. “I really wanted to do something that felt DIY,” Wang says. "Starting over and tearing things up are always the most inspiring moments for me.” By taking classic Adidas stalwarts like track pants, jerseys, hoodies and T-shirts and introducing high-design concepts, he found his way. Prices are more accessible than luxury fashion, ranging from $80 to $450. Full story 🖥: now, 📰: January 28.
