Alexander Wang’s NYFW Location

Grocery store or abandoned theatre?

New York Fashion Week is about to kick off and location is everything. Invites to the shows are like golden tickets, every fashionista is dying to find out when and where the best shows will take place. Lucky for us Vogue has spilled some serious beans on one of the most anticipated events that will go down this week, Alexander Wang’s Fall 2017 show.

Apparently the entire thing is somewhat of a mystery as the invite simply reads: 146th St. and Broadway. Vogue’s Steff Yotka speculated everything from grocery stores to the Broadway traffic divider, but it seems like the most likely location will be the RKO Hamilton Theatre in Harlem.

The RKO Hamilton Theatre is now abandoned and left in beautiful ruin. Covered in graffiti with visible vintage charm (given it was built in 1913), the space seems to be the more likely choice for this edgy designer.

This old gem.
