It looks like The Weeknd is making 2017 his.
The Weeknd, also known as Abel Tesfaye, has an album that continues to be a hit, is set to perform at the Grammy’s, and a first look at his first collaboration with H&M hit the internet today. H&M revealed the collection entitled, Spring Icons Selected by The Weeknd.
The pieces mimic the star’s relaxed style. When asked about the collection he stated, “I love the mix of urban pieces like bombers and hoodies with tailored shirts and blazers. Every piece is both effortless and fresh, which is just how menswear should be.”
According to H&M’s head menswear designer, Andreas Löwenstam, The Weeknd’s style go hand in hand with what the brand aims to portray. Löwenstam stated, “he has such a great eye for the little details that matter, and for mixing together updated men’s classics for the perfect tailored street wear look”.
The collection includes bombers, hoodies, jersey tees, shirts, pants, coats, and plenty of XO logos to go around.
Tesfaye will continue to make his mark in the world of fashion later on this year. We can’t forget his upcoming apparel and footwear collaboration with Puma.
Spring Icons Selected by The Weeknd will be available for purchase online and in stores, March 2nd.
