Uniqlo Set To Collaborate With J.W. Anderson

On Wednesday, Uniqlo announced its upcoming collaboration with Jonathan Anderson for its LifeWear line. In the past, Uniqlo teamed up with Carine Roitfeld on three successful LifeWear collections. J.W. Anderson will create men’s and women’s items for Fall 2017, which will be available online and at Uniqlo stores worldwide.

Past partnerships have included collections and exhibitions featuring A$AP Rocky, Luis Venegas, Ian David Baker and Joanna Wason.

“Collaborations are incredibly important in design,” said Anderson in a statement. “When I think of Uniqlo, I think of things that are perfectly made, that people have spent a lot of time considering; it’s a difficult job, and I think Uniqlo do it very well. Working with Uniqlo is probably the most incredible template of democracy in fashion, and it’s nice that my design can be accessible to anyone, on all different levels.

Stay tuned for duffle coats and fisherman’s sweaters this upcoming fall!
