Club Monaco New Collection Goes Back to the 90s

The collection will star your 90s favorites.

Nostalgia has been a recurring theme among fashion brands and retailers.  It seems brands just can’t get enough of the 90s, and now the early 00s are making a come back as well.  Club Monaco’s new collection is following this trend pattern with its new collection #ClubThrowback.

The collection will have six-pieces made out of T-shirts and sweatshirts in an array of black, grey, and white.  The collection will also display the brand’s logo from the 80s and 90s, as well as its current one.

But Club Monaco is going to the next level when it comes to playing the nostalgia game.  Starring in the brand’s new collection campaign will be 90s favorites Alicia Silverstone, Selma Blair, and Justin Chambers.  #ClubThrowback spokesmodels shared their own favorite #tbt moments on the brands social media.  Whose ready for some throwbacks?

To celebrate the #ClubThrowback Collection, we partnered with iconic celebrities of today, who made their mark on the scene in the '80s and '90s. Shop the collection online now, in select Canada stores tonight at 6pm and in all stores tomorrow. – In honor of the launch, we asked @aliciasilverstone to share her favorite #TBT memory: "When I was 14-16 I would wear the same plain green cotton t-shirt and jeans to every audition I went on. I felt comfy and like myself. But looking back, I find it funny that I was completely uninterested in fashion – so much so that before we started filming Clueless I didn’t understand why there were so many hours spent in costume fittings with Mona May (the fabulous) costume designer. Only after seeing the film did I understand Mona's brilliant work and how the clothes were one of the main characters. Now I enjoy fashion and am so thrilled about the vintage costumes in my new show American Woman!"

We asked '90s icon @therealselmablair to share her favorite #TBT memory: "The soundtrack of my adolescence was filled with the Go-Go's. Belinda Carlisle was the perfect mix of girl punk and utterly adorable at the same time. She is my '80s and '90s 'it' girl. And now in 2017 we are finally friends…on Instagram." #ClubThrowback – While Selma’s sweatshirt is sold out online, you can find it along with limited quantities of the full #ClubThrowback Collection at the following locations tomorrow: Toronto Eaton Center, Yorkdale, N.
