At this year’s Met Gala, Selena Gomez collaborated with Stuart Vevers, creative director for Coach, and stunned in an elegant white laced dress.
Now the 24-year-old singer and actress is joining forces with Coach once again. Gomez is the new face for Coach’s fall campaign and the photos have just been released!
Fashion photographer Steven Meizel was in charge of Gomez’s photoshoot.
Gomez spoke with PeopleStyle about her connection with Coach. “Coach was actually one of my first designer purchases,” said Gomez, “Where I’m from in Texas, Coach was the must-have brand. I remember saving up with my cousin, Priscilla, to get matching wallets.”
Vevers explained how Gomez was the perfect image for the fall campaign.“Selena is a rebel and a romantic, a dreamer and a doer who boldly charts her own course,” said Vevers. He also commented on the way Gomez is able to relate to people and how “she speaks to a generation.”
The photoshoot used an inspired ’70s look. Gomez wore a variety of dresses with a brown fur vest and a leather coat, and she accessorized her look with different colored Coach totes. Overall, Gomez appeared glamorous in each photo with her wavy loose hair and smokey eye shadow.
