Bong Joon-Ho serves as director for the South Korean-American adventure film. The film is about a young girl who does everything in her power to protect her best friend, a massive animal named Okja, from being kidnapped by a powerful company. On June 28, Okja is set to play in select theaters in Los Angeles and New York and premiere globally on Netflix.

Collins expressed her excitement over Joon-Ho’s film. ‘I think it deals with so many topics and subject matters, from environment to politics, the food industry, nutrition, love [and] environment. There’s just so many things that he deals with in such a beautiful way and it’s an adventure movie as well, and it’s beautiful.’
