Kendall and Kylie Jenner might not always make the smartest design choices (cue the recent band t-shirt controversy). But, thanks to their social media following and notorious mom-ager Kris, the girls still have an unbeatable business acumen.
The latest addition to the Kendall + Kylie brand is a swimsuit line for Revolve Clothing, one of the most successful venture-capital-backed online retailers. The 14-year-old company sells high-in-demand brands like For Love & Lemons, Steve Madden and Free People.
The line, which hit Revolve’s site on Monday, features sporty bikinis in red, aqua and olive green, sexy black and white mesh two-pieces, and high-cut one-pieces inspired by Baywatch. Prices range from $120-$150 for each set.
Kendall and Kylie both chose to collaborate with the retailer, saying it is one of their favorite places to shop.
“Revolve has always been one of my go-to places to shop online,” said Kylie.
“We are so excited to have Kendall + Kylie swimwear at Revolve, we feel it’s a perfect partnership,” Kendall said.
The company, which bases its brand selection on consumer demand, made a smart choice to collaborate with some of the most famous, powerful names in fashion.
“Listening to our customers guides us every step of the way,” said Michael Mente, one of Revolve’s CEO’s in an interview.
