“The Hills” star Audrina Patridge has stepped up her bikini image and entered the world of fashion, making sure everyone feels great at the beach. Late last year, Patridge shared her bikini style with the rest of the world after debuting her own swimwear line, Prey Swim.

Patridge’s leap into the fashion world isn’t entirely new territory to her. Patridge’s love for fashion comes her childhood relationship with her grandmother.

“I have always loved fashion, when I was little my grandma would have patterns and we would go buy material and cut out the pattern and sew together and wear. I love using my imagination and bringing creative thoughts and designs to life.”

The swimsuit line features dozens of different patterns, prints, and swimsuit types ranging from bikinis to cutout one-pieces. Mainly focusing on the 18-34 demographic, Prey Swim is also inspired by “different cultures and countries of the world,” keeping everything fresh and “fashion forward.”

Patridge explained:

“I want our consumers to be trend setters, while also feeling confident, and comfortable.”

The name “Prey Swim” comes from Patridge’s deep affinity with the ocean, more specifically sharks. The swimline is inspired by the fierce and empowering nature of her favorite animal, and she plans on making sure everyone knows of their importance.

She said:

“I have always had a passion for the ocean, it’s beyond powerful and I want to use my line to bring awareness to how important the health of our ocean and sharks are.”

Although Patridge admits that managing a brand can be “very challenging,” the results are rewarding and make everything worth the effort. After recently becoming a mother last year, Patridge’s life has changed immensely, but she still has many plans for the world of swimwear fashion.

She said:

“I’m so grateful! I’m a working mama! There’s always a new challenge everyday that pushes me to do better. I have a lot of hopes and dreams as usual but I really would love to start making swimwear for babies and men.”
