Champion & Urban Outfitters: What to Know About the Collaboration

Champion, the sportswear brand first sold at Kmart and Walmart, has become high fashion as of late. There was that collection of capes and hoodies that Vetements launched last winter, a line of turtlenecks and ringer tees for Todd Snyder, and most recently, a collaboration with Urban Outfitters.

On Monday, Urban Outfitters released a line of Champion hoodies, sweatpants, t-shirts and baseball caps for men and women, which range from $45-$75.

The collection features cozy cotton sweat suits in bubblegum pink, powder blue and neon green as well as neutrals like crème, black and camel. Most products contain the signature embroidered “C” logo, and some also include “Champion” written down the side or the front of the garment.

Along with the collection, Urban Outfitters released an exclusive video in which rapper Princess Nokia, football player Kyle Allen, photographer Laurel Golio, model Camille Jansen and artist Emmanuel Olunkwa discussed what being a champion means to them. “Visibility,” “storytelling” and “youth” are concepts the influencers said they “champion” in their lives.
