Ever wonder what its like to shop in a store with no price tags? Well, now you can. Calvin Klein has recently teamed up with Amazon Fashion to create pop-up stores in New York and Los Angeles. The stores will stock classic and exclusive styles of the brand’s underwear and loungewear, while only staying open until December 31st.
But how exactly does it work? Each item will have a barcode that can be scanned and bought directly on the Amazon app. The trouble with this though, is that you won’t know how much something is until you scan it to the app. Both stores will also be equipped with webcams, where customers in both states can communicate with each other.
Introducing the CALVIN KLEIN X @amazonfashion holiday retail experience, the first collaboration of its kind. ⠀⠀⠀ Two exclusive pop-up shops, opening today in New York and Los Angeles, offer an interactive shopping experience featuring exciting tech integrations throughout. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ Shop iconic Calvin Klein Underwear styles, including men’s and women’s underwear, loungewear, and more, for everyone on your list, through December 31. #MYCALVINS ⠀⠀⠀ NEW YORK: 545 Broadway LOS ANGELES: 1444 Third Street Promenade
Not only is there an interactive component to each store, but the dressing rooms are filled with strobe lights, as well as a Bruno Mars track, to recreate a club-like atmosphere making you never want to leave.
Department stores, which are the most important retailers for Calvin Klein, will not be able to get their hands on the merchandise until after January, giving more incentive for people to visit the pop-up locations.
