Talk about the vibrancy coming out of Milan Fashion Week! Fashion brothers, Dean and Dan Caten served embellishments, puffed sleeves and spray painted jeans for DSquared2 Spring Summer 2017 Ready-to-Wear womenswear.
Staying true to their glam-rock atheistic aligned with busy prints and denim. Models wearing a variation of the same two or three outfits. Not that I am complaining, I could wear the same outfit everyday. However, for a stage like the spring fashion shows, one can not stop thinking this collection plays it a little safe.
Sam McKnight, hairstylist and make up artist, Lyndsay Alexander made the 80’s rock look pop. The large spotlighted runway allowed the models, including Stella Maxwell, to shine in body suits, capri jeans, vests, ruffle skirts, plaid and gladiator heels. The womenswear spring 2017 collection felt limited but fierce none the less. The line gave off an urban, pedestrian vibe that looked well against the brick wall reading, Dean and Dan Moving & Storage.
