Paper dolls, pill capsules, and 60’s inspired hair styles. It was quite the show for Moschino Spring 2017 Ready-to-Wear during Milan Fashion Week.
Designer Jeremy Scott, who has led the brand for the last three years has been known for mocking consumerism with distinct label-ridden visuals. He has a way of making cheesy patterns, the chicest thing on trend! Each season different than the last thanks to Scott’s clever scope.
For the spring 2017 capsule collection, models strutted down the runway looking like dolls. Styled by “the legend” Carlyn Cerf De Dudzeele, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid and Irina Shayk and models wore ball gowns, bathing suits, bags, and shoes that looked like paper, complete with paper tabs. Models wore 60’s inspired wigs, adding to the show’s already ‘Valley of the Dolls’ references. Viewers could not get enough of the prescription pill bottle bags, and prints including paper doll accessories that made us want to play dress up!
