Emilio Pucci Pre-Fall 2017 Fashion Show: Review & Looks

Emilio Pucci is known for it geometric prints and intense use of colors and this collection is no different. The use of patterns, textures and colors gives each individual look unique, but cohesive at the same time. The draping technique used on the fabrics gives the piece movements and body, while the asymmetric cuts give it structure. The bright and pastel color pattern mixed with solid staples gives the collection a perfect balance of ready-to-wear and high-fashion. The color block technique used particularly on the different color heels was my favorite and the print that peeked out of the khaki skirt makes the look so unexpected and new.

The clash of colors and pattern reminds me of whimsical, beautiful paintings and the silk fabric reminds me of a fluttering butterfly.
